Fluting, or reeding, refers to a pattern of evenly spaced grooves or ridges, either concave or convex, arranged vertically or horizontally on a surface.
Perforation is advanced cladding system designed to protect buildings from moisture damage. Consisting of an outer protective layer and a ventilated cavity, this system deflects rain while allowing any trapped moisture to escape.
